Early Education/Preschools

Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Head Start is a comprehensive early childhood development program that provides parent involvement, health, nutrition, dental health and mental health services to ninety (90) 3-5 year olds and their families. Developmental screening and evaluation services are offered by the school district for any possible developmental delays or speech concerns. Screening and evaluation is offered to any student ages 3-21 years of age and is free of charge. It is also recommended for all children just starting school. Hours are 8:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday

Believing that every person has a purpose, value, and potential, the Anaconda Learning Center, as part of the Montana Adult Basic and Literacy Education Department under the Office of Public Instruction, provides free instruction to adults and out-of-school youth, to improve their basic skills, attain a high school equivalency, transition to post-secondary education, and/or improve employment skills. Community non-profit serving Anaconda and Phillipsburg area, high school students 16 and older who are out of school, and adults who want their high school equivalency, or who need to improve skills for college or the workforce, or who want to improve their basic skills.
